New ecological routes have appeared in the Utrish Nature Reserve
Nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy a pleasant update in the new season — the Utrish Nature Reserve is expanding its network of ecological routes and launching new excursion programs for guests of the coast. One of the main innovations has become the ecotrope "Century-old Juniper Trail", which allows you to get acquainted with the unique relic forests of Utrish and see the natural heritage preserved here for millions of years.
The route is designed for about an hour's walk and passes through juniper and pistachio woodlands, one of the main natural attractions of the reserve. During the tour, guests will be able to learn more about rare plants, the peculiarities of the local ecosystem and the history of the formation of this unique corner of the Black Sea coast.
Another novelty of the season was the ecological trail "Old Road to the Canyon". The new route combines the popular excursions "Old Road" and "Canyon" into a single journey of more than five kilometers. The trail passes through picturesque forests, observation decks and natural landscapes, offering impressive views of the sea, the Bolshoy Utrish Peninsula and the rocky coast of the reserve.
The already beloved Savina Schel routes also continue to operate for the guests. Turtle Trail", "Old Road" and "Canyon". During the walks you can see rare plant species, get acquainted with the history of the Abrau Peninsula and even meet the Mediterranean turtle Nikolsky — one of the symbols of the reserve.
Along with the development of hiking trails, the reserve introduces modern excursion formats. In the new season, a special audio guide has been prepared for boat trips, which will help guests learn more about the nature, history and features of the coast of Utrish while traveling by sea.
